SERVICE ACTION SP1080 DESCRIPTION
The concern with the tailgate is that 5 holes are drilled and not resealed which may cause water
intrusion into the tailgate.
QB-S: Polestar has decided that all cars, concerned by this QB, shall be modified in accordance
with this QB, at first workshop visit.
A total of 1,227 U.S. vehicles are affected by this service action.

NOTE: SERVICE POINT MUST CONFIRM VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY PRIOR TO
BEGINNING THE REPAIR FOR THIS SERVICE ACTION.

Upgrades. All open Recall, Service Campaign or Service Action repairs must be completed.

Removal

Remove wiper motor, rear , refer to:
Removal, replacement and installation
3 - Electrical system
36 - Other electrical equipment
363 - cleaner
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the nuts.
Torque:
Tail light, to trunk lid , 7 Nm

Warning! Be prepared to collect escaping
fluid.
Undo the hose from the connection.
Disconnect the connectors.
Push out marked component as far as it will go.

Release the locks.
Hint: This step may require the aid of

Remove the marked part.

Seal the hole.

Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
