1. Open the rear hood with the key fob or from the center console. If the 12 V is set to off,
open the rear hood manually, refer to WOM-00223.
2. Disconnect the 12 V system, refer to WOM-00082.
Inspect the Fluid Detection Sensor
The fluid detection sensor can be reached through the rear-frame top.

2. Do a check of the area around the fluid detection sensor
. The area should not be oily.
Oil in this area can be a sign that the fluid detection sensor needs to be replaced.
The illustration shows the Jesko Attack without the rear-frame top.
3. Do a check of the fluid detection sensor with your hand. It should not spin with ease:
3.1 If the sensor does not spin with ease and there is no oil in the area around the
sensor, no further action is required. Set the 12 V to ON and close the rear hood.
3.2 If the sensor does not spin with ease, but there is oil in the area around the sensor,
it needs to be replaced with a new one. Continue to the section Remove.
3.3 If the sensor can spin with ease, it needs to be replaced with a new one. Continue
to the section Remove.
Remove
1. Remove the cross brace, refer to:
º Jesko Absolut, WOM-00203
º Jesko Attack, WOM-00207.
2. Remove the rear-frame top, refer to WOM-00209.
3. Remove the rear dampers, refer to WOM-00101.
4. Remove the rear triplex damper, refer to:
º Jesko Absolut, WOM-00171
º Jesko Attack, WOM-00170.
5. Remove the rear stabilizer bar, refer to WOM-00208.
6. Put on the personal protective equipment.
7. Record the position of the fluid detection sensor harness
.

CAUTION
There could be some oil in the opening of the oil tank when you remove the fluid
detection sensor. Carefully disconnect the fluid detection sensor to prevent oil from
spilling and leaking.

8. Carefully disconnect the fluid detection sensor and o-ring
from the oil tank
. Discard
the o-ring.
9. Disconnect the connector
from the harness for the LST gearbox.
10. Remove the fluid detection sensor unit from the vehicle.
11. Clean the threads of the oil tank opening from Loctite and debris.
Install
1. Put on the personal protective equipment.
2. Apply 2-3 drops of Loctite to the threads of the new fluid detection sensor.
Part: 1004261
Threadlocker: Loctite 480
3. Install the connector
to the harness for the LST gearbox.

4. Install the fluid detection sensor harness
in the recorded position.
Note
Make sure that the harness is not kinked, pinched or can touch sharp edges.
Consumable: Zip ties
5. Install the new fluid detection sensor
to the oil tank
with a new o-ring.
Part: 130-199-3099
Torque: 1 Nm
6. Install the rear stabilizer bar, refer to WOM-00208.
7. Install the rear triplex damper, refer to:
º Jesko Absolut, WOM-00171
º Jesko Attack, WOM-00170.
8. Install the rear dampers, refer to WOM-00101.
9. Install the rear-frame top, refer to WOM-00209.
10. Install the cross brace, refer to:
º Jesko Absolut, WOM-00203
º Jesko Attack, WOM-00207.

7. Record the position of the fluid detection sensor harness

1. Put on the personal protective equipment.
2. Apply 2-3 drops of Loctite to the threads of the new fluid detection sensor.

3. Install the connector
to the harness for the LST gearbox.

Note
