Hood Lamps Update
This instruction refers to other documents that are necessary to do the procedure.
WARNING
Always refer to the manufacturer’s safety data sheet for the chemicals and use the

Prepare
1. Open the front hood with the key fob or from the center console. If the 12 V is set to off,
open the front hood manually, refer to WOM-00748.
2. Open the rear hood with the key fob or from the center console. If the 12 V is set to off,
open the rear hood manually, refer to WOM-00645.
3. Disconnect the 12 V system, refer to WOM-00489.

Remove the Rear-Hood Side Lamps
1. Remove 4× T20 (M4×15) bolts

from the LH and RH side lamps.

2. Discard 4× T20 (M4×15) bolts
3. Remove 2× side lamps.
4. Remove the protection tape together with AC tape from 2× side lamp connectors.
5. Disconnect 2× side lamp connectors.
º Connector X36 from the LH side.
º Connector X37 from the RH side.

Install the Rear-Hood Side Lamps
WARNING
Always refer to the manufacturer’s safety data sheet for the chemicals and use the
necessary PPE. The chemicals can cause injury or death.
1. Put on the necessary personal protective equipment.
2. Use isopropanol to clean the plastic surfaces of the new 2× side lamps.

CAUTION
Make sure that the gasket is on the contact surface and does not extend outside
shape. If the gasket is outside of the shape, the gasket will not bond correctly.
3. Attach the gasket on the contact surface of each of 2× side lamps.

Note
Do not remove the gasket that is already installed. Install one more gasket on top of the
installed gasket.
4. Connect 2× side lamp connectors.
º Connector X36 from the LH side.
º Connector X37 from the RH side.

5. Wind AC isolation tape

around the connected connectors X36 and X37.

6. Attach protection tape

to the ends of AC tape to prevent the AC tape ends to loosen.

7. Install 2× side lamps, each with new 2× H3 (M4×20) bolts

, plastic

and rubber

washers.

Torque: 1 Nm

Remove the Rear-Hood Lamp
1. Remove 2× T20 (M4×12) bolts

from the rear-hood lamp.

2. Remove the rear-hood lamp.
Note
The bracket that holds the lamp can become loose and be removed together with the
lamp.
3. Remove the protection tape together with AC tape from the rear-hood lamp connectors.
4. Disconnect the rear-hood lamp connector.

Install the Rear-Hood Lamp
WARNING
Always refer to the manufacturer’s safety data sheet for the chemicals and use the
necessary PPE. The chemicals can cause injury or death.
1. Put on the necessary personal protective equipment.
2. Use isopropanol to clean 2× contact surfaces

on the rear hood.

CAUTION
Make sure that the gasket is on the contact surface and does not extend outside
shape. If the gasket is outside of the shape, the gasket will not bond correctly.
3. Attach the gasket on each of 2× contact surface

on the rear hood.

4. Connect the rear-hood lamp connector.
5. Wind AC isolation tape

around the connected rear-hood lamp connector.

6. Attach protection tape

to the ends of AC tape to prevent the AC tape ends to loosen.

7. Install the new rear-hood lamp with new 2× H3 (M4×20) bolts

Remove the Front-Hood Lamp
1. Remove the access panel of the front-hood wash-pipe, refer to WOM-00695.
2. Remove the zip tie that attaches the front-hood lamp connector to the anchor.
3. Remove the protection tape together with AC tape from the front-hood lamp connector.
4. Disconnect the front-hood lamp connector from the front hood harness.
5. Remove 2× H3 bolts

from the front-hood lamp.

6. Remove the front-hood lamp.
Note
The bracket that holds the lamp can become loose and be removed together with the
lamp.

Install the Front-Hood Lamp

7. Attach protection tape

8. Attach the front-hood lamp connector to the anchor with a zip tie.
9. Install the access panel of the front-hood wash-pipe, refer to WOM-00695.

Do a Check of the Lamps
Do a check of the lamps.
º If the lamps have cracks or damage around the screw holes, take photos and
submit a KATS ticket to contact Koenigsegg.
º If the lamps do not have cracks or damage around the screw holes, do not
continue with the procedure that follows.
