Introduction
Some customers of 2023 – 2025 model year RX 350h, RX 500h, and 2024 – 2025 model year
TX 500h vehicles may experience one or more of the following complaints when the low fuel level
warning light illuminates:

1. Confirm the customer has the following concerns.

warning light illuminates?

YES — Continue to step 2.
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.
2. Use GTS+ to confirm if the combination meter assembly calibration has been updated.
Is the calibration ID listed in GTS+ the latest combination meter assembly calibration?

YES — This bulletin does not apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.

NO — Continue to step 3.

3. Disconnect the engine cooling fan.

4. Flash reprogram the combination meter assembly.
NOTE
• The DCA-8000 Battery Diagnostic Tool MUST be used in ECU Ref lash Mode to maintain battery
voltage at 13.5V while f lash reprogramming the vehicle.
• The MSP-070 Power Supply / Charger can be used on either the 13.6V or 14.4V setting to
maintain battery voltage while f lash reprogramming the vehicle.
• For details on how to use the 12V battery power supply units, ref er to the instruction manuals
located at TIS – Diagnostics – Tools & Equipment – Battery Diagnostics.
Follow the procedures outlined in Service Bulletin L-SB-0036-22, GTS+ ECU Flash
Reprogramming With Security Signature, and flash reprogram the ECM (PCM) with the NEW
calibration file update.

5. Reconnect the engine cooling fan.
6. Using GTS+, perform a health check, clear any DTCs, and confirm the condition has
