crossmember gusset under high load. Due to the rework involved with removing and replacing a onepiece crossmember, it is recommended that a five-piece bogie crossmember is used instead.

Bogie crossmembers A24-6423-002 and A24-6423-003 may exhibit cracks in the gusset under high load.
Primarily but not exclusive to tanker applications. Due to the rework involved with removing and replacing
a one-piece crossmember, it is recommended that a five-piece bogie crossmember is used instead.

All chassis equipped with a cast one-piece bogie crossmember PN: A24-6423-002 OR A24-6423-003.

If a customer comes into your dealership and demonstrates the condition above, follow the procedures to
replace a one-piece crossmember with a five-piece bogie crossmember.
Warranty
Starting from 08/09/2024, through Standard Warranty or any applicable active Extended Warranty,
Kenworth will pay for parts at dealer net plus applicable mark-up and labor:
5.0 hours labor to remove and install bogie crossmember with standard fasteners. Select
Recommended Repair Code 14034.
