Customer states:
The customer complains that the engine warning lamp (MIL) lights up in the instrument cluster.
Workshop findings:
The complaint can be reproduced in the workshop. The air conditioning system is fully functional and provides its full
cooling output.
One of the following DTCs are stored in Thermal Management, J1024 (address word 00C5):
+ P2CD400: Refrigerant pressure sensor 1 and 2 deviation.
+ P053100: A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor, implausible signal.
+ P0251600: A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor 2, implausible signal.
Technical Background
Software issue in the refrigerant pressure sensor.
Production Solution
This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under development.
Service
1. Diagnose the vehicle according to the instructions listed below. If the customer's vehicle condition matches the
condition listed in the Technical Background of this PSS TSB, explain to the customer that a solution is
expected to be available from week 17 of 2026 (subject to change) and that no repairs are necessary at this
point.
2. Do not replace any components for this condition since this will not resolve the customer’s concern.

3. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in Audi
Now; Service | AU-US > Pending Service Solutions (PSS).
Erase the event memory entries in diagnostic address 00C5 and then reassess the complaint. If the event memory
entries are logged again, please perform a sensor pressure check via Guided Fault Finding.
The refrigerant pressure sensor must be replaced if the sensor pressure check (via Guided Fault Finding) identifies
it as defective.
If the refrigerant pressure sensor is not defective and the event memory entries are not logged again, please wait for
the measure to be made available.
