Onboard supply control unit J519 (Diagnostic address 0009) needs to be replaced after Guided Fault Finding or fault
analysis is performed or due to a repair measure from a TSB.
After the control unit has been replaced, it is not possible to activate the new one correctly. Control unit activation
with the workshop tester fails or the mileage cannot be written.

Service
The following steps are necessary to write the mileage:
1. Make a note of the exact current mileage of the vehicle directly before replacing the onboard supply control
unit.
Vehicles with unit set to miles: Please read out the mileage in the unit “kilometers” via measured
values.
2. ODIS version (or higher):

a. ODIS-S version: 24.1.1
b. Audi brand software version: 2024.08.00 / 2.34.8
c. Main feature 240101.201.60
3. Replace the onboard supply control unit using the > test plan “0009 - Replace control module”.
4. During the replacement test plan, the token from the onboard supply control unit is displayed on the => vehicle
diagnostic tester.
5. Copy this token and paste it via the “Help - Support - Support request” button and send it to the manufacturer
together with the previously noted mileage and the diagnostic log.
6. When creating an ODIS Service support ticket, select Software error, Limited order editing functions possible
and attach the current diagnostic session.
Until the token has been successfully written:
- You must not return the vehicle to the customer!
- You must not perform a road test!
- The mileage MUST remain the same until the token supplied by manufacturer is successfully written and
the coding process completes.
7. Once the new token is received, copy and paste the token provided by the manufacturer from the > response
to the support request into the following step in the test plan.
8. Once the test program has been successfully completed, the mileage must be checked in the
instrument cluster.
