2024 ZDX Software Updates
Dear <FirstName> <LastName>:
You may have recently received a Safety Recall notice informing you of a required software update for your
vehicle to address an issue that may cause the instrument cluster and center infotainment display to go blank
while the vehicle is being driven.
We are writing to provide supplemental information regarding the software package that will be installed
during that service appointment.
In addition to the software necessary to complete the Safety Recall remedy, the updated software also
includes several system improvements designed to enhance the functionality of certain vehicle features.
These enhancements may include updates related to braking, driver seat movement, virtual key card
operation, adaptive cruise control, and active cabin ventilation. These feature improvements are a part of our
ongoing software development efforts and are not part of a Safety Recall. They will be applied automatically
as part of the software installation process performed by your authorized dealer.
Please call any authorized Acura dealer and make an appointment to have your vehicle’s software updated
for FREE. Once you make an appointment for your vehicle, be advised that up to 2 hours may be required
based on your vehicle’s specific software needs. However, your dealer can provide you with a better estimate
of the overall time for this service visit, as it may be necessary to make your vehicle available for a longer
period of time. If you are not the only driver of this vehicle, please advise all other drivers and passengers of
this important information.
