This TSB supersedes 26-01-003G to include HMMA-built GV70 (JK1A) vehicles produced from
09/04/2025 – 11/03/2025 on pages 1-2.

 IMPORTANT
Retailers must perform this service campaign on all affected vehicles prior to retail delivery to a
guest and whenever an affected vehicle is in the shop for any maintenance or repair.
Access the “Vehicle Information” screen via WebDCS to identify open campaigns.
Description: Certain GV70 (JK1, JK1A), GV80 (JX1), and GV80 Coupe (JX1) vehicles may exhibit a
loose windshield glass garnish seal. This bulletin provides instructions to remove the old garnish and
install new parts.

part is still under warranty, submit a separate claim using the same repair order. If the affected part is
out of warranty, submit a Prior Approval request for goodwill consideration prior to performing the
work.

This TSB includes repair validation photos. Refer to the latest Warranty Digital Documentation
Policy for requirements.

1.

Starting at the top of the windshield (A), lift the
windshield glass garnish (B) to disengage the
clips.

Continue lifting the garnish towards the bottom
of the windshield (C)

Push the lower end of the garnish downward to
separate it from the cowl top cover then
remove it from the vehicle.

bottom of the garnish is fully
disconnected before removing the

Install the new windshield glass garnish in the
reverse order of removal.

Refer to the photos for proper installation:
•

PASS: The lower end of garnish is
inserted between the cowl top cover and
fender panel.

•

FAIL: The lower end of garnish is NOT
inserted between the cowl top cover and
fender panel.

Firmly press down on the entire garnish to
ensure all clips are fully secured.

Remove any assembly protection film.

Using the STUI camera function, take a
photo of the new windshield glass
garnish installed on the vehicle.
Upload the photo to STUI.
NOTE: If the STUI camera function is
NOT used, write the last 6 digits of the
VIN and date of repair on a piece of
paper to include in the photo.

7.

Repeat steps 1-6 on the opposite side.

8.

The service procedure is now complete.
