Issue Summary
Symptom:
Coolant leak from crack in radiator core
Root Cause:
Over constrained radiator core
Verification
If a coolant leak is observed from one or both radiator cores, on C1000D6RE generator sets built after July 1st 2021, proceed to the resolution section.
Note: This TRP only covers radiator core failures on cooling package, part numbers A068H458, A079J255 and A079N739. See Figure 1 for part number location on side
of cooling package frame.
Radiator core failures on cooling package part number A063P162 are not covered in the TRP. See Figure 2 for part number location on upper tank by upper radiator hose
for Part Number A063P162

Resolution
For units experiencing radiator core failure, a revised bar and plate service cooling package assembly (Radiator), Part Number, A079N739 and Mounting Conversion Kit,
Part Number, A079G753 have been released.
Note: A revised exhaust bellow kit has also been released. If the unit experiencing the radiator failure has the old style bellow pictured below in Figure 3, the revised
bellow kit, should also be ordered and replaced at the time of radiator package replacement. See Service Parts Availability section for part ordering information.

Service Instructions
For cooling package remove and install procedure, Refer to TSB250073 on QuickServe Online.
Warranty Claim Filing Instructions
Note: Proactive replacement will not be covered. TRP covers only fix as fail for units up to 5 years old and 9,000 hours, whichever comes first.
Do not replace both radiators if only one radiator experiences failure.
Coolant should be collected and reused where possible. Top off replacement coolant can be claimed under other claimables as outlined in the Consumables section
502-009 of the Warranty Administration Manual, 4021290.
Note: If both radiators fail, claim the labor times below twice, with exception to 00-90F.
Note: List if front, rear or both radiators were replaced in warranty correction field
