Action:
Follow the instructions in this document to install the load lock clamp.

Repair Procedure

1. Secure vehicle for service.
2. Install wheel chocks.

3. Locate the load lock clamp at the back of the cab.

4. Inspect load lock clamp:
Option A
•

If the composite load lock clamp (see picture below) is installed, please perform
recall RVXX2512. Once recall is completed, proceed to step 7.

Option B
•

If a bracket is installed on the truck with no load lock clamp (see picture below),
please proceed to step 7.

Option C
•

If the bracket is missing from the truck (see picture below), please order the
bracket (P/N 78656742) and continue following instructions.

5. Install bracket and 4 M8*14 fasteners (P/N 994383).

6. Torque fasteners
Tightening torque

24 ± 4 Nm (18 ± 3 lbf⋅ft)

7. Use template on last page of this document to drill three new 8mm mounting holes.
NOTE: Ensure when printing template, check “actual size” so template will print
correctly.

8. Once holes are drilled, Install new clamp (P/N 3972856).
9. Use 1x M6*50 (P/N 994799) Note: this bolt goes in the hole with the raised boss, 2x
M6*25 (P/N 994797), 3x Lock Nut (P/N 990949) and 3x Washer (P/N 60113317) to
mount clamp to bracket.
10. Torque hardware to 10Nm (8lbf·ft).

11. Remove wheel chocks.

12. Return vehicle to service.
