Parking Brake Improvement
This instruction refers to other documents that are necessary to do the procedure.
This instruction is applicable on RH and LH side. The illustration shows the LH side.
Situation
The bolts for the parking brake can come loose and create premature wear on the rim.
Action
Replace the bolts with the new ones and apply thread locker.
WARNING
If the bolts that attach the parking brake are not correctly torqued with
threadlocker, the parking brake can get loose and cause an accident.

Prepare
1. Open the rear hood with the key fob or from the center console.
2. Disconnect the 12 V system, refer to WOM-00007.
3. Disconnect the HV system, refer to WOM-00021.
4. Lift and put the vehicle on jack stands, refer to WOM-00031.
5. Remove the rear wheels, refer to WOM-00022.
Replace Bolts
1. Do a check of the LH and RH parking brake calipers to make sure that there are no scratches
or other damages.
1.1 If you find a scratch or other damages, submit a KATS ticket to contact Koenigsegg.
1.2 If there are no damages on the parking brakes, continue with the next step.
2. Do a check of the inner side of the LH and RH rear rim spokes. Make sure that there are no
scratches or other damages that are caused by the parking brake.
2.1 If you find a scratch or other damages, submit a KATS ticket to contact Koenigsegg.
2.2 If there are no damages on the rear rim spokes, continue with the next step.
3. Remove and discard the H6 bolt
from the parking brake caliper.

4. Install the new H6 bolt to the parking brake caliper.
Part: 130-174-0553
Threadlocker: Loctite 270
Torque: 10 Nm
5. Remove and discard the H6 bolt
from the parking brake caliper.
6. Install the new H6 bolt to the parking brake caliper.
Part: 130-174-0553
Threadlocker: Loctite 270
Torque: 10 Nm
7. Do steps 3 thru 6 on the other side of the vehicle.
