Front Radiator Fan Shroud Improvement
This instruction refers to other documents that are necessary to do the procedure.
Koenigsegg demands that precautions are made to prevent risk of contamination, refer to
SER-00035.

Situation
After continuous testing and development of the Jesko Absolut, a new radiator fan shroud
configuration has been developed to improve the car’s cooling performance.

Action
Install the new front radiator fan shroud.
WARNING
If the vehicle has been operated immediately before you start this instruction,
make sure that the radiator is not too hot. If the radiator is too hot it can cause
injury to persons.

Prepare
1. Open the front hood with the key fob or from the center console.
2. Disconnect the 12 V system, refer to WOM-00082.
3. Loosen the wheel nuts, refer to WOM-00083.
4. Lift and put the vehicle on jack stands, refer to WOM-00092.
5. Remove the front wheels, refer to WOM-00083.
6. Remove the front compartment plate, refer to WOM-00091.
7. Remove the front splitter, refer to WOM-00126.
8. Remove the front bumper, refer to WOM-00127.
9. Remove the upper front crash structure, refer to WOM-00108.

Remove
1. Disconnect 2× fan connectors

2. Remove and discard 8× 13 mm screws
from the cooling fan mounts.
3. Remove the cooling fans.
4. Remove and discard 4× 7 mm locknuts
together with the washers from the rear of the
fan shroud.
5. Remove and discard 5× T25 screws
together with the washers from the front of the fan
shroud.
Note
The washers are installed below the fan shroud.
6. Remove and discard the fan shroud.

Replace The Fan Shroud
1. Put the new fan shroud in position.
Part: 1089462
2. Install the new 5× T25 screws
together with the washers in the front of the fan shroud.
Part: 130-144-5702, 130-142-1018
Consumable: Loctite 243
Torque: 3 Nm
Note
The washers are installed below the fan shroud.

3. Install the new 4× 7 mm locknuts
together with the washers from the rear of the fan
shroud.
Part: 130-198-1034, 130-147-3040
Torque: 2.7 Nm
4. Install the cooling fans to the new fan shroud with the new 8× 13 mm Flange screws
.
Part: 130-143-0820
Consumable: Loctite 243
Torque: 3 Nm
5. Connect the connectors
for the cooling fans.

Install
Install in the reverse order.
