LST 3µ Filter Housing Improvement
This instruction refers to other documents that are necessary to do the procedure.
Koenigsegg demands that precautions are made to prevent risk of contamination, refer to
SER-00035.

Situation
The LST filter housing may wear prematurely.

Action
Install the new LST filter housing.

WARNING
Always refer to the manufacturer’s safety data sheet for the gearbox oil and
use the necessary PPE. The gearbox oil can cause injury or death.

CAUTION
Always refer to the local regulations and manufacturer’s safety data sheet
when you discard the gearbox oil. The gearbox oil can cause damage to the
environment.

WARNING
Make sure that no contamination gets into the gearbox oil system. If water or
unwanted particles get into the system, it can cause a malfunction when you
operate the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle or injury to the persons can occur.

Prepare
1. Open the rear hood with the keyfob or from the center console.
2. Disconnect the 12 V system, refer to:
º Jesko, WOM-00082
º CC850, WOM-00489.
3. Lift and put the vehicle on jack stands, refer to:
º Jesko, WOM-00092
º CC850, WOM-00492.
4. Remove the engine mudpan, refer to:
º Jesko, WOM-00094
º CC850, WOM-00493.
5. Remove the venturi, refer to:
º Jesko Absolut, WOM-00131
º Jesko Attack, WOM-00130
º CC850, WOM-00495.
6. Drain the LST gearbox housing, refer to:
º Jesko, WOM-00211
º CC850, WOM-00589.
7. Remove 2× H3 screws
from the clutch cover.

8. Remove the T25 screw

and Nordlock washer from the clutch cover.

9. Carefully remove the clutch cover.

Remove
1. Remove the T25 bolt

and Nordlock washer from the inlet hose.

2. Discard the Nordlock washer.
3. Disconnect the inlet hose from the LST filter.
4. Remove the T25 bolt
and Nordlock washer from the LST filter-to-HP Pump hose.
5. Remove the hose clamp from the LST filter-to-HP Pump hose.
6. Discard the Nordlock washer.
7. Disconnect the X300
from the temperature sensor.

8. Remove the 18 mm thread extender

from the LST gearbox.

Note
Do not loosen the temperature sensor from the thread extender.
9. Discard 2× sealing washers.
10. Remove 2× T45 bolts
and Nordlock washers from the LST gearbox.
11. Discard 2× Nordlock washers.
12. Put the oil pan below the LST gearbox.
13. Remove the Filter housing from the LST gearbox.
13.1 Carefully disconnect the LST filter-to-HP Pump hose from the filter housing.
13.2 If attached, remove the LST wiring harness from the harness support bracket.

14. Remove the T25 screw

from the filter housing.

15. Remove the filter cap
from the filter housing.
16. Remove the wave spring from the filter housing.
17. Remove the 3μ filter from the filter housing.
18. Discard the filter housing.

Prepare the New Filter Housing
1. Apply a small quantity of the Vaseline to the inner o-ring of the new filter

2. Insert the new filter

to the new filter housing.

3. Make sure that the filter is correctly positioned inside the filter housing.
4. Apply a small quantity of the Vaseline to the new o-ring.

5. Install the new o-ring

to the filter housing.

6. Install the wave spring

into the filter cap

.

7. Put the filter housing into a vertical position. Push the filter cap
with the wave spring
carefully into the filter housing, make sure that the filter cap is flush to the housing.
8. Install the T25 screw
to the filter housing
Torque: 5 Nm

Install
1. Install the new filter housing

to the LST gearbox.

2. Make sure that the filter housing aligns with the LST-filter-to-HP pump hose

.

CAUTION
Be careful when you install the sealing washers
and
to the 18 mm
thread extender
. The sealing washers are easily damaged if you push the
washers onto the threads. Turn the washers to carefully install these to the
extender.
3. Carefully install the sealing washer
to the 18 mm thread extender
the washer to install it onto the extender threads.

4. Carefully install the 18 mm thread extender
to the gearbox with a sealing washer
between the filter housing and the gearbox. Do not push, turn the washer to install it onto
the extender threads.

5. Install 2× T45 bolts
and new Nordlock washers to the LST gearbox.
5.1 Do not tighten the bolts

6. Install the LST-filter-to-HP pump hose with the AN12 hose clamp, T25 bolt
Nordlock washers. Do not tighten the bolt

7. Align and connect the inlet hose to the filter housing with the T25 bolt
Nordlock washer. Do not tighten the bolt

8. Tighten 2× T45 bolts
.
Torque: 33 Nm
9. Tighten the 18 mm thread extender
.
Torque: 30 Nm
10. Tighten the T25 bolt
.
Torque: 6 Nm

11. Tighten the T25 bolt
.
Torque: 6 Nm
12. Route the connector to the temperature sensor.
13. Connect the X300 connector
to the temperature sensor.
14. Install the clutch cover with 2× H3 screws.
Threadlocker: Loctite 243
Torque: 4 Nm
15. Install the T25 screw and new Nordlock washer to the clutch cover.
Torque: 5 Nm
16. Fill the LST gearbox housing with the LST oil, refer to:
º Jesko, WOM-00336
º CC850, WOM-00578.
17. Do a check of the LST oil level, refer to:
º Jesko, WOM-00094
º CC850, WOM-00579.
18. Do a safe start up of the vehicle and make sure that there is no leakage.
