Purpose:
This bulletin provides the parts and installation instructions for a retrofit installation of the Husky LCD 3 control
module and display on an apparatus with an existing legacy Husky 3 foam system.

Procedure:
NOTE:
• New components may be installed in whatever position works best for the vehicle they are being
installed. Component mounting positions shown in images are for reference only and discretion
should be used to ensure the best functional mounting position without causing damage to the
system.
• Hardware required will depend on how and where the new parts are installed. Use new hardware
as required for best install.
• Depending on configuration, mounting brackets may need to be fabricated in order to mount the
control module and/or jumper box.
• Remove and install cable ties as required.
1. Disconnect original wire harness display connector from original display.
2. Remove original display from vehicle.

NOTE: The new display and adapter plate may be installed in the same position as the original display, or
in a new position, as needed. New holes will need to be drilled in order to install the new display
and adapter plate.
3. Position adapter plate (PN 4794684) in desired mounting position and mark new mounting holes on
vehicle as needed.
4. Drill new mounting holes (#15; 0.18”) as needed.
5. Install adapter plate on vehicle.
6. Install new display (PN 4773771-0001) on adapter plate.

7. Connect new wire harness HUSKY 3 DISPLAY connector (PN 4773775) to new display in order to test
reach of harness.

NOTE:
• The mounting position of other retrofit components will depend on the available length of new
wire harness.
• Other components must be within reach of new harness to plug in connectors without excess
strain on the harness.
• If no viable mounting position is available, the control module and jumper box may be secured out
of the way with cable ties, as needed.
• Control module (PN 4773773) should be mounted with connector openings facing downwards to
prevent water build-up. Your installation may look different than the example shown.
8. Install control module (PN 4773773-0001) on vehicle.
9. Install jumper box (PN 4773776) on vehicle.
10. Connect new wire harness HUSKY 3 CONTROLLER connector to control module.
11. Connect new wire harness RETROFIT CONNECTOR to jumper box.
12. Connect original wire harness display connector to jumper box.
13. Cap excess plugs on new wire harness as needed.
14. Secure new wire harness as needed.
NOTE:
• The Operation’s Manual required for operation, configuration, and calibration procedures will
depend on which components of your Husky 3 foam system are generation 1 or generation 2.

o For generation 2 components, see Husky LCD 3 Foam System Operation & Maintenance
Manual, PM-F-OM591.
15. Calibrate and configure Husky LCD 3 foam system as needed.
