Description: Some Venue (QX) vehicles may exhibit intermittent inoperative power window operation.
This TSB provides the procedure to replace the driver power window switch in the driver front door.

procedure(s) outlined in this TSB. Prior to beginning any repair work, ensure the part(s) associated
with the repair procedure are within NVLW, observing mileage and Warranty Start Date or date of first
use. If the subject part(s) are out of warranty coverage, the dealer has the option to submit a PA
Request for goodwill consideration on a case-by-case basis.
NOTE 3: This TSB includes repair justification photos. Op times include VIN, mileage, and repair
justification photos as outlined in the Digital Documentation Policy.
NOTE 4: If any part(s) not subject to this TSB are found in need of replacement while performing the
repair procedure, and the affected part(s) are still under warranty, the dealer may submit a separate
claim using the same repair order. If the part(s) not subject to this TSB are out of warranty coverage,
the dealer has the option to submit a PA Request for goodwill consideration on a case-by-case basis.
NOTE 5: The incident parts are subject to callback through the normal Warranty Technical Center
(WTC) parts return process. Claim is subject to debit if the part is not returned.

This TSB includes repair justification photos. Refer to the latest Warranty Digital Documentation
Policy for requirements.

NOTICE
Applying the recommended torque to all fasteners is essential to reduce potential issues from
occurring after the service procedure.

Disconnect the negative (–) battery terminal.

Using a trim remover, remove the front
door quadrant inner cover (A).
! CAUTION

A

Wear proper gloves to prevent hand
injuries.

NOTICE
Use a plastic trim removal tool to prevent
damage to the trim.

Remove the mounting screws and remove the
front door trim (B).

Remove the front door inside handle cage (C).

Press the lock pin and disconnect the mirror
switch connector (D) and power window
connector (E).

Press the lock tab and disconnect the tweeter
connector (F).

Remove the driver power window switch
assembly (G) by using a flathead screwdriver
to release the 6 locking tabs then pull
downward.

Using the STUI camera function, take a
photo of the production stamp on the
original driver power window switch.
Upload the photo to STUI.
NOTE: If the STUI camera function is
NOT used, write the last 6 digits of the VIN
and the date of repair on a piece of paper
to include in the photo.

Install the new driver power window switch
assembly.

Information

Ensure the connector is installed
properly.
10.

Reinstall all parts in the reverse order of the
removal process.

11.

Reconnect the negative (−) battery terminal.

12.

Test the operation of the door unlock/lock,
child lock, and window up/down buttons for all
4 doors to ensure they all operate correctly.

NOTICE
If the vehicle still has inoperable
window(s) after the power window switch
replacement, then follow the normal
diagnostic process.

The service procedure is now complete.
