B. Installation of Fender and Tailgate Decal Procedure
1. From the drivers side fender measure up from
the bottom of the fender 4 ¾”, measure from the
driver’s door edge 1 7/8” and place tape (Figure
4).
2. Repeat for the passenger’s side fender decal.

3. Wipe the fender with a clean, lint-free cloth to
remove any dirt or dust accumulated on the
surface. Spray the fender with 90% ISO-Water
Solution and wipe dry with clean lint-free cloth.
4. Spray down the fender with soap/water solution
in the areas where the graphic will lay.

5. Acquire the fender graphic and peel off the backing paper form the graphic. Dispose the backing paper.
6. Spray down the back of the graphic thoroughly with
soap/water solution till the graphic is soaked.
7. Lay the graphic on the fender. Position the graphic
cross-car by aligning the edge of the backing
paper alignment features against the back edge of
the tape. Ensure the graphic is centered and
straight as displayed above.
8.

Spray down the carriereBay logo thoroughly with soap/water
solution.

9. Measure on the tailgate from the right edge and
bottom edge (Figure 5).

Squeegee down the center line of the graphic prior to squeegeeing the sides. This will secure the
graphic in place, preventing it to slip.

Carefully peel the carriereBay logo/pre-mask from the back of the graphic with 180-degree angle. Use the squeegee to
press down any raised edges.

12.

Repeat steps for tailgate decal, roof, front and rear bumper decal installation (Figure 6).

C. Sill Plate Installation
1. Open driver door, wipe the door opening
sill area clean.
2. Using provided alcohol pads, wipe sill
plate area.

FRONT DOOR SILL PLATE

3. Peel the adhesive protection plastic off
the plate.
4. Align to the sill plate to door opening and
center the sill plate in place (Figure 8).
5. Apply pressure to plate to adhere to
vehicle.
6. Repeat for passenger side door.

7. Open the driver rear door, wipe the door opening sill area clean.
8. Using provided alcohol pad, wipe sill plate area.
9. Align to the sill plate to drivers rear door
opening and center the sill plate in place
(Figure 9).

Apply pressure to plate to adhere to
vehicle.

11.

Repeat for passenger rear door.

D. Sidestep Installation Procedure
1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Using an appropriate tool, remove the (6) clear plastic plugs from both sides on the rocker panel
(Figure 10).

3. Insert the 6 bolts and apply provided clear tape on the 6 inserts as shown (Figure 11).
4. Insert the brackets with the clear
tape into the holes of the removed
plugs (6).
