ISSUE:
Fast Track coaches are not built with required impact sensors and Prop 65
warning decals(for diesel) for the State of California new coach delivery.
SUMMARY:
Performing this procedure will add the parts and decals to meet the
requirements for sales delivery.

PROCEDURE:
1. Set park brake and chock wheels.
2. Turn the main battery disconnect switch to the “OFF” position.
3. Have a TSM or Service Center Adviser open a Reported Incident for the Fast Track unit needing the updated
parts and put the RI into “Pending FSAR” status. Request a new Mux program and parts for the “California
Prep Package” in the RI request.
4. Open the front junction box door and locate the position above the frame structure to install the impact sensor
bracket.

5. Using the bracket PN 1120208 as a template, drill the 4 .196 dia holes. Install the bracket with the 4 rivets PN
19-13-137. Install the impact sensor PN 1106075 to the bracket 1120208 using the nuts PN 90N96000.

6. Remove and save the two screws on the front pass-through cover plate. Set aside cover plate.

7. Remove and discard terminating resistor from LC-XT18C (or FJ-XT21C if SMARTIRE equipped). Install
jumper PN 07-12-1971 in resistor former location.

9. On harness PN 1107019 connect wire ID GND ring terminal to the frame stud ST-T407.

10. Route the 3 wires from harness PN 1107019 up toward VMM’s using the FJBox pass-through.

11. Install the EVT-ACT wire to connector FJ-P121 PIN 6 on VMM12.

12. Remove the protective cover on the fuse panel. Route the red power wire up the left side of the fuse panel.
Connect the red wire PWR2_B ring terminal to the FJDP-J3 stud. Torque nut to 130-150 In-Lbs.

13. Re-install fuse cover. Secure all wiring with Tywrap PN 5958112. Re-install pass through cover.
14. Open the rear junction box and prepare to install the rear sensor. J45 shown below.
15. Locate the transverse frame member at the top of the baggage bay near the center on the curbside.

16. Using the bracket PN 113020 locate it next to the bag bay light per the dimension below. Mark the 4
mounting holes in the tube and drill the .194 dia holes.

17. Install the sensor mounting bracket with the (4) rivets PN 51R03007. Install the sensor with the (4) nuts PN

18. Locate T-connector RJ-XT05C and remove the terminating resistor. Install the data cable PN 07-12-1963
where the terminating resistor used to be. Connect the other end of data cable PN 07-12-1963 to the Tconnector of new sensor harness PN 07-12-9570.

21. Place 5 amp fuse PN 07-08-1057 in location F6 on distribution panel.

23. Install the EVT-ACT wire into RJDP-P271 Pin 6 on VMM27 module.

24. Secure all wiring with Tywrap PN 5958112.
25. Install the new MUX program provided by Engineering for the impact sensor addition.
26. Test the system by turning on the coach, then press and hold the reset button for 10s to activate
demonstration mode. The exterior 4-way flashers and the interior lights will come on when the system is
activated.

27. Reset the system by activating the hazard switch and holding the kneel recover switch for 10 seconds or until
the system resets. (the system can also be reset by pressing the sensor Reset button for 2s)
28. Install the Proposition 65 warning decals in the locations shown below.
