Summary
This article supersedes TSB 22-2495 to update symptoms in the TSB title and issue, and an update to labor times, changing from MT time to actual time with a limit. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: - Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P27B4 stored in the primary drive control module (PDCM) - Charge status indicator (CSI) and hazard-stop safety now indicator blinking red with DTC P0A7F stored in the battery energy control module (BECM) and/or DTC P0CF7 stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic module A (SOBDM) (also referred to as the battery charger control module ÝBCCM¨) This may be due to the software in the SOBDM/BCCM.

This bulletin supersedes 22-2495. Reason for update: revised symptoms in the TSB title and issue, and an update to
labor times, changing from MT time to actual time with a limit.

Issue: Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions:
• Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with DTC P27B4 stored in the SOBDMC
• CSI and hazard-stop safety now indicator blinking red with DTC P0A7F stored in the BECM and/or
DTC P0CF7 stored in the SOBDM (also referred to as the [ BCCM])
Action: For vehicles that meet all of the criteria in the Issue and Model statements, follow the Service Procedure to
reprogram the SOBDM/ BCCM.
Warranty Status: Warranty coverage limits and policies are not altered by a TSB. Warranty coverage limits are
determined by the identified causal part.

1. Reprogram the PCM using the latest software level of the FDRS.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to update all of the following modules as necessary:
• SOBDM
• BECM
• SOBDMB
• SOBDMC
• ABS
NOTE: Only one module may be updated at a time.
