Purpose:
This bulletin provides guidance for inspection
and replacement of the T17 module, Samsung
Tablet, and RAM mount on certain 2025 mixer
units. Replacement is required only if the unit does
not contain the qualifying Display and Telematics
software versions identified below

Reimbursement of Costs:
Labor Reimbursement:

In order to receive credit if you qualify, claims must be submitted through the normal Revolution
Concrete Mixers Warranty Claim System. Claims must be received within 30 days of the repair. Claims
must include the Revolution Serial Number of the truck, the customer asset number, and the number of
this bulletin. NOTE: One claim per truck.

Approved Labor Reimbursement Time: 60 minutes

Parts Reimbursement:

Parts and ground shipping will be reimbursed to the customer. Parts necessary for this repair must be
ordered from Revolution Concrete Mixers at (855) 202-6491.
Claims must be submitted through the normal Revolution Concrete Mixers Warranty Claim System.
Claims must be received within 30 days of the repair. Claims must include the Revolution Serial
Number of the truck, the customer asset number, and the number of this bulletin. NOTE: One claim per
truck

Deadline:
For units that meet the criteria described in this bulletin, the procedure is recommended in accordance
with normal service scheduling.
To qualify for reimbursement, warranty claims must be submitted only for vehicles identified in this
bulletin by model, model year, and units affected.
Warranty claims with proof of installation must be submitted no later than December 31, 2026.

Procedure:
1. Perform your company’s Lockout/Tagout procedure. If your company does not have a Lockout/
Tagout procedure, follow OSHA 1910.147 and 1910.146 Confined Space as appropriate.
2. Chock wheels and engage the service brake.
3. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by your company.
4. Turn on the ignition with the engine off.
5. Proceed to the login screen on the Samsung Tablet display.
6. Verify the Display Version and Telematics Version shown at the bottom of the login screen (see
Figure 1).

Replacement is NOT required if the following versions are present:

Display Version: V1.0.2-20g3ba832fa5d
•
Telematics Version: V0.0.2-1-g909db944b5
If the unit does not contain the versions listed above, replace the T17 module and Samsung
Tablet. RAM mount replacement may be required based on the inspection results in step 7.
7. Inspect the RAM mount cradle part number label (see Figure 2).

New Cradle PN: RAM-HOL-SAM60CP-RJ45A-1S
•
Old Cradle PN: RAM-HOL-SAM60CP-RJ45AS
If the old cradle PN is installed, replace with the new cradle.

8. Remove the Samsung Tablet by pushing upward on the lock and pulling the tablet outward (see
Figure 3).

9. Turn off the truck and switch off the battery disconnect (if equipped).
10. Disconnect ethernet and charging cables from the RAM mount cradle.

11. Remove four mounting bolts securing the cradle and retain hardware.

12. If required, replace the T17 module as outlined below based on the OEM instructions on opening
the dashboard based on different Chassis make. Reference Figure 5 for general schematic.

• Remove Top dash panel (gently pry off) by following OEM instructions
• Remove passenger side panel (4 Phillips screws)
• Disconnect antenna (1624117) from T17 module by loosening the co-axial cable at GNSS and
Cell M and disconnect MC 50 on harness 1682081 from T17 module (1624118)
• Remove the existing T17 Module and place the new T17 module in the same location
• Connect antenna (1624117) to T17 module by tightening the co-axial cable Named GPS and
LTE to GNSS and Cell M port respectively on the T17 module and Connect MC 50 on harness
1682081 to T17 module (1624118)
• Put the dash together and complete next steps

• Remove center dash panel (carefully pulling from the corners, no screws all clips) following the
OEM instructions
• Remove drivers side dash panel (carefully pulling from the corners, no screws all clips) following
the OEM instructions
• Remove center panel for easier access (4 Phillips screws)
• Disconnect antenna (1624117) from T17 module by loosening the co-axial cable at GNSS and
Cell M and disconnect MC 50 on harness 1682081 from T17 module (1624118)
• Remove the existing T17 Module and place the new T17 module in the same location
• Connect antenna (1624117) to T17 module by tightening the co-axial cable Named GPS and
LTE to GNSS and Cell M port respectively on the T17 module and Connect MC 50 on harness
1682081 to T17 module (1624118)
• Put the dash together and complete next steps

Mack
• Remove dash surround (2 Torx T25 screws)
• Remove Transmission Selector (1 Torx T25 screw
• Disconnect antenna (1624117) from T17 module by loosening the co-axial cable at GNSS and
Cell M and disconnect MC 50 on harness 1682081 from T17 module (1624118)
• Remove the existing T17 Module and place the new T17 module in the same location

LTE to GNSS and Cell M port respectively on the T17 module and Connect MC 50 on harness

• Remove Top dash panel (gently pry off)
• Disconnect antenna (1624117) from T17 module by loosening the co-axial cable at GNSS and
Cell M and disconnect MC 50 on harness 1682081 from T17 module (1624118)
• Remove the existing T17 Module and place the new T17 module in the same location
• Connect antenna (1624117) to T17 module by tightening the co-axial cable Named GPS and
LTE to GNSS and Cell M port respectively on the T17 module and Connect MC 50 on harness
1682081 to T17 module (1624118)
• Put the dash together and complete next steps

Western Star
• Remove panel on passenger side following OEM instructions

LTE to GNSS and Cell M port respectively on the T17 module and Connect MC 50 on harness

Put the dash together and complete next steps

13. Install new cradle PN RAM-HOL-SAM60CP-RJ45A-1S and secure using retained hardware.
14. Reconnect ethernet and charging cables and install the replacement Samsung tablet.
15. The procedure is complete.
16. Remove your company’s Lockout/ Tagout procedure. If your company does not have a Lockout/
Tagout procedure, follow OSHA 1910.147 and 1910.146 Confined Space as appropriate.
