WST8 – Reworking Rear Lid (Workshop Campaign)

Cause:

There is a possibility that the fastening nuts on the rear lid on the affected vehicles have not been
tightened to the specified tightening torque.
If this is the case, this can cause noises with the rear lid while driving.

Þ Rear lid -2- securing rear lid
Tighten fastening nuts ⇒
Þ Rear lid -1- to the specified tightening torque.

Position trim (rear window) on the rear lid and clip it in
place.

Enter the campaign in the warranty and maintenance
logbook.
