BMW ALPINA XB7 Sports Activity Vehicle

August 1, 2025 – January 17,

SITUATION

BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective February 13, 2026) on certain Model Year 2026 BMW

vehicles that were produced between August 1, 2025, and January 17, 2026.

Do not deliver to a customer, as New, Certified Pre-Owned, or Used, a vehicle that is subject to a

Delivery Stop until the vehicle is repaired. Do not use or sell replacement equipment/parts subject

to a Delivery Stop.
CAUSE

On G07 vehicles, the VIN-specific type plate

(aka Manufacturer’s certification placard/label)

on the driver’s B-pillar has missing

information. Instead of displaying the correct

maximum permissible rear axle load (GAWR)

in American pounds (lbs), the type plate

shows two horizontal lines (circled).

The correct maximum permissible axle load is

4123 lbs.
CORRECTION

Replace the type plate on the lower B-Pillar.

1. Remove the type plate from the driver-side Bpillar (circled). Light heat may be needed.

2. Remove all adhesive residue using a suitable

cleaner.

3. Apply activator 205 thinly and sparingly in area

of type plate.

4. Allow 2 minutes of drying time.
5. Attach the new type plate with the correct GAWR

of 4123 lbs, using the same positioning as the

original.
Press firmly over the entire surface for

maximum adhesion
