Hyundai Motor America (HMA) has re-launched Warranty Extension Z09 for the Inoperative Horn
Assembly Replacement.
This TSB supersedes 26-BE-001H to add Santa Fe (TMA) and Santa Fe Hybrid (TMA HEV) to the
Applicable Vehicles, Parts Information and Warranty Information.
A. Affected Vehicles:
- Certain 2021-22MY Santa Fe Hybrid produced 12/18/2020 – 09/14/2023
- Certain 2022-23MY Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid produced 05/13/2021 – 09/14/2023
- Certain 2021-23MY Santa Fe (TMA) produced 10/30/2020 – 12/29/2023 (added for this re-launch)
- Certain 2023MY Santa Fe Hybrid (TMA HEV) produced 10/10/2022 – 12/29/2023 (added for this re-launch)
**VIN Identification: Use the 'Vehicle Information' screen in WebDCS under the 'Extended Factory Warranty' section to determine
warranty extension applicability.
B. Warranty Extension Description:
Some vehicles may have an inoperable horn that may be caused by foreign substances causing internal parts to oxidize.
Hyundai is extending the warranty coverage for the horn replacement under this condition to 10 years or 120,000 miles from the date of
original retail delivery or date of first use (whichever occurs first) and is valid for original and subsequent owners.
If a horn needs to be replaced, follow the instructions within this Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 26-BE-001H-1 to install the latest
design.
Please note that any vehicles under 10 years/120,000 miles are covered by this TSB, even if vehicle is with original warranty of 5
