This bulletin supersedes 24-2142. Reason for update: update the Parts List, Service Procedure (Steps 1-2), and increase the labor operation allowances to reprogram
the PCM/TCM.

Issue: Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions:
• Poor shift quality
• Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with DTCs P2704 and P0771 stored in the PCM/ TCM.
This may be due to a calibration in the TCM and/or wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing the input shaft O-rings to become damaged resulting in
an open E clutch circuit.
Action: For vehicles that meet all of the criteria in the Issue and Model statements, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM/ TCM and/or replace the E
clutch hub and input shaft O-rings.
