TCU Module software patch was created to prevent and resolve the following failure modes:

Prognostics Not Resetting or not Staying Reset after a battery cycle.
Cannot Access PierceCZ.com (HTTP ERROR 500)

The procedure below outlines what part/s are needed to resolve the issue.
Procedure:
1. Command Zone III apparatus with TCU part numbers below per PierceParts.com Parts Catalog:
o 3290146
o 63-4728-0001
o 63-4728-0002




Connect to the TCU using a PC web application.
Navigate to PierceCZ.com using Incognito or Private browser window
If “HTTP ERROR 500” error displays, a replacement TCU, PN 3630705, will be needed.

2. Ordering Replacement TCU to resolve HTTP 500 Error:
o Place Order for PN 3630705
 Provide Job Number and Unit Number on Order.
 If you have a 63-4728 TCU with 4 antenna connections and you receive a 3630705 with
3 antenna connections, we need to connect the Cell M antenna to the Cell connection of
the replacement TCU. The left-over cell antenna can be tied up out of the way.
 In the opposite situation if you have the original 3290146 TCU with 3 antenna
connections and you receive a 3630705 replacement TCU with 4 antenna connections on

it the cell antenna going to the Cell connection on the original TCU will connect to the Cell
M connection and the Cell D port will be left open on the replacement TCU.





Remove old TCU and replace it with refurbished TCU, pn# 3630705.

o Arrow XT - Driver Seat Back Distribution
o Velocity/Impel - P/S Kick Panel Distribution
o Dash CF - P/S Kick Panel Distribution
o Quantum - Driver Seat Back Distribution
o Enforcer - Right Side Above P/S kick Panel Distribution
Turn the battery switch on.
Connect to the vehicle Wi-Fi and navigate to PierceCZ.com using Incognito or Private
browser window.
Validate “HTTP ERROR 500” doesn’t display.
Navigate to the about page.
When looking at the about page, confirm the APP version is “2.5.3P”.





If prognostics were not staying reset, then reset them now.
Cycle the battery switch.
Recheck prognostic status.





