Situation:

The customer complains about the error message "Headlight beam adjustment defective, service
necessary" in the instrument cluster.
One or more of the following fault memory entries are stored in the headlight (central) control unit fault
memory:

00B201 - Servo motor for left headlight beam adjustment, short circuit to B+ or open circuit
00B203 - Servo motor for dynamic cornering light on left, short circuit to B+ or open circuit
00B205 - Servo motor for Porsche Dynamic Light System roller on left, short circuit to B+ or open
circuit
00C201 - Servo motor for right headlight beam adjustment, short circuit to B+ or open circuit
00C203 - Actuation of servo motor for dynamic cornering light on right - short circuit to B+ or open
circuit
00C205 - Actuation of servo motor for sliding headlight range on right, short circuit to B+

Information
It is not necessary to replace the complete headlight in connection with the fault memory entries for the
aforementioned complaints.
Action:

If there is a customer complaint, replace the control units for headlight light adjustment on the left and right
headlights with the part number below.
