Technical Background

The service info provides an overview of the planned deployment of customer service packages for MLB and MQB
vehicles equipped with the MIB3 system. Depending on the vehicle model, the following control units may be
updated as part of a customer service package:

Diagnostic address | Control unit name

0x005F Control unit 1 for information electronics
0x0075 Emergency call module and communication unit
0x0693 Volume regulator

This is software for service only. No deployment in series production.

Service

Important information:

The customer service package will be divided into packages depending on the vehicle model.
This update only applies to vehicles with MIB3 infotainment systems.

MLB:

A4, AS, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, Q8, e-tron, e-tron GT

MQB:

Q3, A3
