DESCRIPTION:
This ATC is being issued to address Variable Geometry Turbocharger actuator failures on certain X12 CM2350 X119B
and X12 CM2450 X137B engines installed in SeaGrave Fire units. This ATC authorizes certified Cummins repair
locations to proactively replace Turbocharger Actuator along with its calibration.
ACTION:
In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:
1 will be covered Regardless of coverage status, and
2 must show as OPEN on QuickServe® Online for this field action.
NOTE: The ESN list is attached for reference.
After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:
NOTE: Refer to Service Manual #5467515 for X12 CM2350 X119B and Service Manual #5659705 for X12 CM2450
X137B.
1 Replace the Variable Geometry Turbocharger Actuator with part listed. Please refer to service procedure
010-134 Variable Geometry Turbocharger Actuator, Electric in the appropriate service manuals.
2 Conduct the appropriate Turbocharger Actuator Calibration following procedure 010-150 Turbocharger
Actuator Calibration Code in the appropriate service manual.
MATERIAL DISPOSITION:
Where applicable, items removed should be returned to ReCon for core credit. Unless otherwise indicated, items with
no core liability can be scrapped.

parts, such as o-rings, gaskets, and fasteners, that are not in the Parts list but are required to perform the repair
