Issue: Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a rattle from the right loadspace trim
panel at high audio system volumes. This may be due to loose and/or broken attachments.
Action: For vehicles that meet all of the criteria in the Issue and Model statements above, follow the Service
Procedure to correct the condition.

Service Procedure
1. Remove the right loadspace trim panel. Refer to the WSM, Section 501-05 Interior Trim Ornamentation
2. Replace all loadspace trim panel retaining clips. (Figures 1-2)

3. Remove the subwoofer and inspect the subwoofer for broken plastic mounting tabs. Refer to the WSM, Section
415-00 Information and Entertainment System. (Figure 3)

4. Are any mounting tabs broken?
1. Yes - replace the subwoofer. Proceed to Step 5.
2. No - proceed to Step 5.
5. Remove and discard the retaining nut located in Figure 4.

6. Install the subwoofer reinforcement kit following the installation instructions included in the kit.
7. Reassemble the vehicle adding foam tape where necessary to limit loadspace panel vibration.
8. Reprogram the DSP using the latest software level of FDRS scan tool.
