Purpose for Parts and Accessories Bulletin
This bulletin informs dealerships about the new Öhlins® special tool kit available through Harley-Davidson to perform basic
services on certain Öhlins® suspension products.

Vehicles Affected
2018 and later Softail models fitted with Screamin' Eagle Öhlins forks and shocks.
2014 and later Touring models fitted with Screamin' Eagle Öhlins forks and shocks.
2025 CVO Road Glide RR model fitted with Screamin' Eagle Öhlins forks and shocks.

Markets Affected
All markets affected.

Summary
There are two levels of service for Öhlins suspension products: Basic and Advanced.
BASIC
• Basic service is defined as fork oil, bushings, and seal replacement.
• Basic service only applies to front forks.
• Basic service can be performed by any Harley-Davidson dealer utilizing parts, tools, and support materials available through
Harley-Davidson Motor Company (HDMC).
ADVANCED
• Advanced service is defined as all rear shock service and front fork complete rebuild.
• For advanced service, contact Öhlins through their website at (Öhlins.com).
BASIC SERVICE:
There is a new tool kit (Part No. 14900177) available through Harley-Davidson parts and accessories to perform basic service
events on certain Screamin' Eagle Öhlins forks.
Service part kits used to perform basic service on Öhlins front forks are now available. Refer to Table 2. The kits contain two
seals, two upper cap o-rings, and four bushings.
Service instructions can be found within the Parts and Accessories (P&A) product iSheet.

Repairs for warrantable conditions that can be fixed using basic service procedures can be performed by any Harley-Davidson
dealer. Claims can be submitted through the standard warranty process.
Basic service training materials are available through Harley-Davidson University (HDU) online.
ADVANCED SERVICE:
Advanced service on Öhlins Suspension products requires specialized training and tools only available through Öhlins Certified
Service Centers. Advanced tools, materials, and parts are restricted to individuals with an Öhlins Service Certification.
Repairs for warrantable conditions that require advanced service will be made by replacing the faulty part. Dealer will file a claim
directly with Harley-Davidson following the standard warranty process.
