Dear Timpte Customer:
This notice is sent to you as the last known owner of record for the trailer with the Vehicle
Identification Number shown above.
Timpte has decided to notify customers and assist in updating certain 2022 – 2026 TSEZ model
trailers, commonly referred to as EZ-Load model trailers. We apologize for this situation and want
to assure you that, with your assistance, we will support timely updating of your trailer. Our
commitment, together with your contracted Timpte dealer, is to provide you with the highest level
of service and support.
What is the issue?
The fender assemblies that were originally installed on the trailer with above referenced VIN may
not achieve the desired level of performance under certain operating conditions. Specifically, the
fasteners used to secure the fenders to the axle may become loose, causing the fender to vibrate.
While owner/operators of Timpte EZ-Load trailers must check that each fender is securely fastened
before each tow (ref. the Service & Maintenance section of the User Manual – EZ-Load Drop
Deck Models – page 20), out of an abundance of caution, Timpte is updating the fender fasteners
and associated installation procedures to minimize any potential for the fenders to become loose.
What will Timpte Do?
We recently updated the manner in which we fasten the trailer’s fenders to the axle. Specifically,
we have increased the size of the bolts to a 3/8 inch diameter, fine-thread fastener and we have
updated numerous production process controls to ensure installation consistency. In consideration
of this recent engineering and production change to Timpte’s EZ-Load trailers, we are sending
letters to the purchasers of these trailers that did not already have these updated components
installed. In collaboration with your selected Timpte Customer Support Center (“CSC”),
contracted dealer or authorized service center, Timpte will replace the fender mounting hardware
free of charge, including the required parts and labor.
How long will it take?
The time needed for this repair is approximately four hours. However, due to service scheduling
requirements your service location may need your trailer for a longer period of time.

What should you do?
Call your Timpte CSC, contracted dealer or authorized service center and request a service
appointment for the replacement of the fender fasteners. If you do not already have a servicing
dealer, you may contact Timpte Warranty by phone (402) 367-3056 or email:
Warranty@Timpte.com and they will help identify the nearest service location for you.
In accordance with The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (49 CFR 396.13) and your
trailer’s owner’s manual, thoroughly inspect the trailer to ensure it is in safe operating condition
before operating the trailer. If fender attachment fasteners are missing, loose, or the fender is not
completely secure, remove the fender or secure it by other means prior to traveling.
Timpte wants you to have these repairs completed on your trailer as soon as possible. As the trailer
owner, you are responsible for making arrangements to have the work completed. Timpte can deny
coverage for any damage that may result from the failure to have these repairs performed on a
timely basis. Therefore, please have these repairs performed as soon as possible. This offer from
Timpte is available through December 31, 2026.
What if you no longer own this trailer?
If you no longer own this vehicle, and have an address for the current owner, please forward this
letter to the new owner or notify Timpte so we can do this on your behalf.
You received this notice because you are the last known owner of record. Our records are based
primarily on state registration and title data, which indicate that you are the current owner.
