Issue Summary
On some units the top of the fuel filter housing is not easily accessible, making installation of the T-adapter fitting to perform the low-pressure fuel system checks
difficult.
Resolution
New parts are offered that enable the modification of the existing adapter so the low-pressure fuel filter system check can be performed when the remote mount
fuel filter housing is not easily accessible.
Update the existing service tool so the low-pressure fuel system can be measured at the outlet of the fuel filter housing.

Parts Needed to update service tool:
¼ inch NPT cross fitting
¼ inch NPT Compuchek™ fitting, Part Number 3376860
Polytetrafluoroethylene thread sealant or equivalent
Service Instructions
Steps For Modifying Existing Service Tool, Part Number 4918895:
Remove Compuchek™ fitting from T-adapter fitting.
Remove hoses with hose barbs from T-adapter fitting.
Use thread sealant on all NPT threaded fittings.
Install hoses with hose barbs on new ¼ inch NPT cross fitting horizontally from each other.
Install a Compuchek™ fitting in the top of the cross fitting.
Install the new Compuchek™ fitting in the bottom of the cross fitting.
