Customer states:

The yellow warning message “Left/right main beam headlight defective. See owner’s manual” appears in the
instrument cluster while driving.

There are no functional restrictions in the main beam headlights.

The warning lamp disappears after switching the ignition off and then on again but subsequently appears

intermittently.

Workshop findings:

The complaint can be reproduced.
DTC C12FC01 LED channel 4, electrical fault, symptom 139272 is stored in diagnostic address 0029 (Left light

control) and/or 0039 (Right light control).

There are no functional restrictions in the main beams/additional main beams.

Technical Background

Software issue.

Production Solution

Optimized target data container (TDC) for diagnostic addresses 0029 and 0039 from week 26/2025 onwards.

Please perform TSB 2079690 00 Combined software update 03.10.00/C (28.13.01) KD2 for this concern.
