Customer states:

* — At the time of the complaint, the vehicle was at an AC charging station.
AND
* The drive system could not be activated.
AND
* — The following error messages appear in the instrument cluster after switching on the vehicle.
- Drive system: fault. Safely stop vehicle
- Electrical system: fault. Safely stop vehicle
Workshop findings:
* The customer statement can be reproduced.
The following DTC entries are logged (static/intermittent) in the control unit for hybrid battery management (008C):
* U059B00: High voltage battery switch box, implausible signal
* POADCOO: Hybrid/EV Battery Positive contact control circuit high
* POQAEOOO: Hybrid/EV Battery Negative contact control circuit high
* P2BCA00: Battery Charging system, activation positive loader 2, short circuit to positive

Technical Background

Diagnostic aspects of the software are too sensitive.

This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under development.

If a customer has contacted the dealership regarding this concern, and the vehicle is not operational,
before the vehicle is towed to the dealership advise the customer to turn the vehicle off completely for 20
minutes for a bus sleep cycle. The customer should attempt to restart the vehicle after 20 minutes has
transpired. If the concern persists, then recommend contacting Roadside to have the vehicle towed to the
nearest Certified Audi Service Center.

1. Diagnose the vehicle according to the instructions listed below. If the customer’s vehicle condition matches
the condition listed in the Technical Background of this PSS TSB, explain to the customer that a solution is in
development and is expected to be available by the end of the 2nd quarter of 2026 (subject to change). No
repairs are necessary at this point.

2. Donot replace any components for this condition since this will not resolve the customer’s concern.

3. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in Audi Now;
Service | AU-US > Pending Service Solutions (PSS).

A bus sleep cycle may help here If the DTCs are set as static:

* The DTC entries can be deleted after the bus sleep cycle.
* Reassess the complaint.

* — Itis very unlikely to have the concern happen again after an occurrence.
