A/C CONDENSER FAN RELAY REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that, if not
avoided, may result in death or serious injury.

Ensure all power to the coach has been disconnected
and the coach is fully powered off, prior to starting
the repair.

1, Remove the panel covering the relay in the front drive side compartment. (Figure 1)

2. Locate the 40A relay for the condenser fans. (Figure 2)

3. Remove the relay from the backer in the compartment with a screw gun and square head bit. Using wire strippers, cut
the wires from the relay. ,

a. Note: You will want to cut roughly 8-10” back from the relay. (Figure 3)

4. Use the wire strippers to strip the wires still in the coach.
a. Note: You will only want to strip enough wire to use in the supplied butt connectors. (Figure 4 — left hand
side)

5. Use the butt connectors on the 80A relay assembly to wire the relay to the coach.
a. Note: You will want to connect the wires matching color to color, (blue to blue, green to green, white to
white and orange/white to orange/white) (Figure 4 — right hand side)

6. Secure the new 80A relay assembly to the board in the same location the 40A relay was removed from.

incorporate such changes in previously manufactured product. Jayco makes every reasonable effort to ensure field remedies will not adversely affect
performance and/or safety of the unit. This field remedy is not intended to extend to future performance of this RV, or any of its materials, components or
parts beyond the standard warranty period. The RV owner’s obligation to notify Jayco, or one of its independent, authorized dealers, of a claimed defect
does not modify any obligation placed on the RV owner to contact Jayco directly when attempting to pursue remedies under state or federal law.

cold air. The repair is installing a new relay harness.

dealership and requires the Service Bulletin repair prior to being retail sold:
