Summary
This is a TJ - no attachments - If the engine cannot be remote started in the Volvo
Cars app and the "Check Engine Light" is on in the DIM, together with DTC ISGM P056200, or in combination with the DTCs listed below, please follow the advice under "Service".Do not replace the ISGM. The ISGM is just a messenger to detect issues in the 48-volt system. The symptom occurs when the ERS attempt via the Volvo Cars app is made immediately after the engine has been turned off and the car has been locked.

SERVICE:
Do not replace the ISGM. The ISGM is just a messenger to detect issues in the 48-volt
system.
The symptom occurs when the ERS attempt via the Volvo Cars app is made immediately after the
engine has been turned off and the car has been locked.
After the engine has been turned off and the car locked, the immobilizer system (anti-theft system)
is active for approximately 40 seconds, and during this time, the engine can only be started by using
the keyless start.
To avoid this issue, please advise the customer to wait at least 40 seconds after the car is locked
before using the ERS function in the Volvo Cars app.

Only two ERS start attempts via the Volvo Cars app are allowed before a keyless start is
required.
The Check Engine Light will disappear after a number of driving cycles.
