Issue Overview

Software optimizations are available for various control units for the Macan Electric. For this purpose, the
control units must be reprogrammed using the Porsche Tester to the current VR28.13 software network.

What Porsche Centers Should Do

Please arrange for this measure to be performed immediately on the affected vehicles.
As of the time of this posting (11/4/25) the repair
is immediately available.

Campaign Exception for Punch Time Requirements:
WSJ0
PCNA will make an exception to warranty policy regarding the necessary time keeping procedures when
performing the following campaigns: WSJ0. Though warranty policy guidelines state that no technician may
be punched on more than one R.O. at the same time, an exception will be made for the WSJ0 campaign.

Due to the extensive programming time necessary a technician may perform multiple WSJ0 campaigns
at one time, as

long as there is a separate identifiable punch for each on
the respective repair order and the total number of campaigns being
performed at one time does not exceed 3. The exception will be made so that full "active
participation time" does not need to be documented for this campaign.

Important information on the baseline software
hardware network and the integration test as
part of a workshop campaign
Basis of the integration test:
•

The test is carried out using the Porsche Tester based on the current baseline in the
back end
• There is only one valid baseline per vehicle
What happens at a new baseline?

Activation of new software/hardware releases
Previous baseline becomes invalid
New Porsche Tester release is provided at the same time

Test procedure:

Vehicles are checked against the current baseline
Porsche Tester displays affected control units in red when updating is required
It is always necessary to update the control units

Important information on the workshop campaign:

Campaign is only considered completed when all control units are displayed in
green in the integration test
