Concerns:

Upper part of rear lid lock (rear lid lock)

Cause:

Customers complain about rattling or squeaking noises from the lock area of the rear lid.

Cause:

Different pre-tensioning of the entire tailgate system can lead to movement between the catch bar and catch
hook in the lock.

Action:

If the noises can be clearly attributed to the rear lid lock and are not caused by other components, adjust the
guide wedges on the rear lid, check the rear lid lock if necessary and then rework the catch hook.
