After a mileage of 2 2668 miles, an implausibly high average consumption of 8 gal./62 miles to 26 gal./62 miles
suddenly appears in the on-board computer’s long-term memory after the ignition (terminal 15) is switched off and
on again. The average consumption shown drops as the vehicle is driven further but remains significantly too high.

The on-board computer’s short-term memory is not affected as it resets itself automatically after the vehicle is left
standing for two hours.

Technical Background

Software issue in HCP3 (high-performance computing platform) with cluster 3.
