SERVICE:
*Before replacing any parts, follow the checklist below.
1.
Check the calibration of the window. Recalibrate if needed. This can be checked by following
reference VCC-524977-1.
2. Inspect the trim moulding (see attachment TJ37421_5.jpg). The pressure from the original window
calibration can permanently deform or damage the material, replace if needed.
If the checklist above does not resolve the issue, follow steps below.
3. Apply tape to door panel (see attachment TJ37421_1.JPG). Cut the tape to following dimensions:
690 mm long and 25 mm wide, ensuring it covers the entire panel lip.
4. Apply tape to the weatherstrip (see attachment TJ37421_2.JPG and for location, see attachment
TJ37421_3.jpg). Cut the tape: 300 mm long and 12.5 mm wide. Apply with 2 layers. The tape should
start approximately 300 mm from rear end (B pillar) and only cover the middle portion of the seal,
not the entire moulding.

Details for cutting (see attachment TJ37421_4.jpg):
a) Cut 690 mm of the tape.
b) Cut this piece in half so you have 2 lengths of 690 mm x 25 mm, one tape should be applied for
action 3.
c) Cut the tape to dimension 300 mm long and 25 mm wide.
d) Then cut the tape in half, so both pieces are 300 mm long and 12.5 mm wide for action 4.
