Product Change Notice - 7000 and 9000 Series Screen/Shade Door Updates
Dear Valued Customer:

Within 30 days several adjustments will be made on a running basis to the 7000 series screen/shade doors
and 9000 series screens to improve usability and accessibility. These changes are as follows:

1. The bottom extrusion's height has been lowered from 1" to %" and the sides have been angled. This
increases the footprint of extrusion from %" to 1 %". These changes have been made to ease the risk of
tripping over the extrusion.

2. Toaccommodate the changes made to the extrusion, the glider has also been adjusted with more
robust grips, making it less likely to slip out.

3. Thecorners of the sliders/shades have been modified to make them stronger by changing the shape of
their design.
A. The inside design of the corners has added rigidity and strength.
B. The new corners will be made of the same material as the previous corners, however, the new
corners have added additional bracing to prevent flexibility.

NOTE: At the time writing, molded parts for these corners are unavailable for images. However, to illustrate
the new design of the corners a 3D printed sample is included in the image below featuring the new
design next to the current one (installed).

All 7000 series screen/shade doors and all 9000 series screens will be implementing all of the

aforementioned updates, and 7000 and 9000 series integrated shades will only receive the more robust
corners.
