Customer statement:

The radiator fans run constantly. The windshield wipers do not work.

Workshop findings:

One or more of the following DTCs may be logged as static or intermittent in the following control units:

Engine electronics J623 (address word 0001)

+ P048000 Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit.

* P048100 Cooling Fan 2 Control Circuit.

+ P10EF00 Function limitation due to radiator fan failure.

+ U063200 Lost Communication With Fan 1.

+ _U063300 Lost Communication With Fan 2.

Electronic central electrics J519 (address word 0009)

+ _U10A300 Wiper Motor Control Module, no communication.

Comfort module J393 (address word 0046)

+ _U10F300: Alarm horn for anti-theft warning system no communication.

Technical Background

On vehicles manufactured within a specific period, wire damage/chaffing may occur on circuits routed through the
plenum chamber. Sometimes, this damage may only be visible under the harness wrapping.

Production Solution

Vehicles from production date August 21, 2025 onwards are manufactured using the optimized process.
Service

In rare cases, only a LIN DTC may be present for an affected circuit. This TSB applies if the affected
system has a LIN wire which is routed through the plenum chamber.

vehicle, the image/video must:

+ Must not be edited.
+ Should be in focus and taken with sufficient light. A high resolution is not necessary.
If appropriate, please mark the location of the problem so that parts analysis has a clear reference to the complaint.
Please ensure that the photo documentation does not show any people and/or face, license plates, or customer
data.
