Model I Installation
The pull-out table within the Model I may become loose. This work instruction is for the reinforcement and
potential replacement of the components that secure the table.
Safety:

Safety is and should always be observed when performing any type of repair or installation. The American
National Standards Institute (ANSI) has created a standardized labeling system for different levels of safety and
danger. The labels below provides information regarding those levels of danger, and should be observed and
adhered to at all times.

product and/or property damage if not performed safely and within the parameters set forth in this document.

CAUTION
Always wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), such as eye protection, ear protection, gloves and possibly
a full face shield depending on the nature of the task to be performed.

READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK.
For Reference:
“Table Cavity” shown in: (Figure 1). “Cabinet or Cabinet Directly Below” (Figure 2).

1. Open cabinet doors below the pull-out table (Figure 3).
2. Locate screws on the top panel inside the cabinet directly under the pull-out table — it’s what secures the
table in place. (Figure 4).

3. Within the cabinet directly below the table use drill with #2 square bit to remove the 8 white screws under
2 drawer guide support lumbers: 4 screws from the right hand side and 4 screws from the left hand side.
Dispose of the 8 white screws (Figure 5 and Figure 6).

4. With the screws removed, now remove the pull-out table from its cavity. Store the table in a safe place so
it will not become damaged or cause damage to other areas, such as the floor and other components (not
shown).

5. Within the table cavity measure the distance between the vertical support cleats located against the exterior
wall ( and ).
Take the provided wood (P/N 112350) and use a saw to cut two pieces/cleats to length

6. Test fit the newly cut cleats and place into the table cavity before proceeding to the next step (Figure 8).
7. Within the topside of cabinet, directly below the table cavity, take 2 screws (P/N 114381) and drill through
the topside of the cabinet to secure the right hand cleat that was placed in the table cavity directly above it.
Repeat this step for the left hand cleat (Figure 9).

8. Within the table cavity, on the right hand side, drill 2 screws through the front of the cleat into the exterior
wall (P/N 114381). Repeat this step for the left hand cleat (Figure 10).

9. Place the pull-out table back into the cabinet cavity. (You may need a second person to ensure no one is
hurt or nothing becomes damaged.) Make sure that the drawer guide support lumber is pushed back so
that is up against the newly installed cleats. This will move the table out an additional 3/4” from it’s original
resting position (Figure 11).

10. Within the cabinet directly below the table cavity containing the pull-out table, measure the distance
between cleats from the topside of the cabinet. Take the remainder of the provided wood (P/N 112350) and
use a saw to cut two pieces/cleats to length (Figure 12).

11. Within the cabinet directly below the table cavity containing the pull-out table, align the newly cut cleat
with the original screw holes from Step 4 and shown in Figure 13. Ensure that the cleat is aligned with the
drawer guide support lumber on the left hand side (Figure 13).
12. With the cleat now aligned, within the cabinet directly below the table cavity containing the pull-out table,
secure the cleat on the left hand side by drilling 4 screws (P/N 114383) into the drawer guide support
lumber (Figure 14).

13. Repeat steps 11 and 12 for the right hand side of the cabinet directly below the table cavity containing the
pull-out table.
14. Test functionality of the pull-out table.
15. Installation complete (Figure 15).
