WSJ2– Reworking Rear Axle Module Wire Harness (Workshop Campaign)

Concerns:

Rear axle module wire harness

Cause:

On the affected vehicles, it is possible that the diameter of the fastening clip of the rear axle module wire
harness does not meet the required specification.
If this is the case, crushing and damage to the main wire harness cannot be ruled out. As a result, a yellow
warning message “Vehicle electrical system faulty” will be displayed on the instrument cluster.

Action:

Rework the rear axle module wire harness.

For invoicing the necessary material – for repairing the rear axle wire harness (Scope 2) needs repairing –
during the warranty processing, enter Part No. WSJ20000001 with the designation “Consumables” as an
additional part costing $5.77 in the warranty claim.

Remove previous rear axle module wiring harness ⇒

Remove and discard previous fastening clip ⇒

Check the rear axle module wire harness in the area of
