AFFECTED VEHICLES
Vehicles which require this campaign to be completed will show it as “Open” when checked
either in AIR, AWP, Campaign Summary or Warranty Vehicle Inquiry.

SITUATION
BMW
AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective July 11, 2025) on certain Model Year 2025 - 2026 BMW
vehicles that were produced between April 14, 2025, and June 3, 2025.
Do not deliver to a customer, a New, Certified Pre-Owned or Used vehicle subject to a Delivery Stop,
until the vehicle is repaired. Do not use or sell replacement equipment/parts subject to a Delivery
Stop.
Due to an assembly error the upper oil pan screws may not have been torqued correctly.
CORRECTION
Remove, replace and torque 6 of the of the upper oil pan screws.

11 05 25_DELIVERY STOP: S68T ENGINE - REPLACE UPPER OIL PAN SCREWS
1. Replace 6 specific upper oil pan screws with P/N 07 11 9 908 428 using Repair Instruction 11 13
020 “Remove and Install Lower Oil Pan Section”.
Do not remove the upper engine oil pan or the engine oil pump from the vehicle. Follow the
supplemental instructions in the next step to replace each of the 6 affected screws one at a time
after the lower oil pan is removed.
Only 6 screws are affected by this Delivery Stop.
2. Remove, replace and torque each screw one at a time using the sequence of numbers in the
illustration below. Only replace the 6 screws highlighted in red.
Replace the 6 affected screws in positions 1, 3, 5, 6, 10 and 14 in that order only.
Torque the 6 new screws to the following:
Joining Torque: 10 Nm
Angle Torque: 90 degrees
