Condition

Customer states:

+ The MiL/exhaust warning lamp is on in the instrument cluster after starting the engine. The engine speed may
be noticeably low in isolated cases.

OR
+ There is no customer complaint and the fault specified in the workshop findings is stored in the engine control
unit in connection with a different complaint.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC is stored in the ECM, J623 (address word 0001):
DTC P050600: Idle Speed Control, RPM below spec value, symptom code 4008 static/ intermittent.
Technical Background
There is a software deviation in the engine control and HCP1, resulting in fault PO50600 being stored in the engine
control unit.
Production Solution
This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under development.
Service

This PSS may apply to vehicles still within the new model launch repair authorization period!

- For vehicles still in the launch phase, the workshop must create a case with the Technical Assistance
Center (TAC) per the repair authorization, in addition to entering the vehicle into the PSS database.
Reference this TSB in the first line of the TAC case.

Please clear fault P050600 and charge battery.

1. Explain to the customer that this matter is being reviewed, and you will be advised if any action is determined
to be needed. This concern does not occur during normal vehicle operation. Generally, a low battery charge
level occurs during extended stationary periods during transportation or while the vehicle is at the workshop. A
result should be available by the end of the 4th quarter of 2025 (subject to change) and that no repairs are
necessary at this point.

2. Do not replace any components for this condition since this will not resolve the customer’s concern.

3. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in AccessAudi
(under Related Links >> Service).
