Condition
This TSB only applies if a key user has already been added for this vehicle and a digital key is being used.
Customer states:
A5 and A6 e-tron
The vehicle cannot be unlocked or locked using any method. The LED in the key does not flash when a button on
the key is pressed while near the vehicle. When attempting to lock the vehicle via the app, the message “Please
switch off the ignition” may appear in the app although the ignition is already off.

5 and Q6 e-tron
The vehicle can only be unlocked or locked via the door lock cylinder. The LED in the key does not flash when a
button on the key is pressed while near the vehicle. When attempting to lock the vehicle via the app, the message
“Please switch off the ignition” may appear in the app although the ignition is already off.

Service
Information for an immediate measure (e.g. when contacting the Audi Partner, Audi Roadside Assistance or
the Customer Experience Center by phone): As soon as the device with the digital key installed is outside the
vehicle’s range (approx. 132 feet) or the device or Bluetooth is switched off and approx. 15 minutes have passed
without any activity being performed on the vehicle (deep bus sleep), the vehicle can be unlocked and locked using
the remote control key.
Once the vehicle has been unlocked, it can be started without any problems.
This TSB only applies if the issue can be remedied using the procedure described in the customer
statement. If in doubt, please check whether the issue was reproduced with the device on which the digital
key is installed.
If the vehicle cannot be started after it is unlocked, please check whether there are any open field
campaigns for the vehicle.
As a permanent solution for this customer complaint, please replace onboard supply control unit J519.
