Purpose

This document outlines speed ratings for Power Bimini Series 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and 3000.

Safety

Before operating the power bimini top, thoroughly inspect the area around the entire bimini
assembly. Verify that nobody is in an area that will interfere with the motion of the bimini assembly.
Serious injury could result.

Do NOT fully open the bimini frame without the canvas top installed when testing product for proper
operation. Opening the bimini frame without the canvas top installed will result in severe product
damage. Only fully open the bimini frame with the canvas top installed.

Do NOT open or operate the top in excessively high winds. Having the top open or operating the
top in high winds, regardless if the boat is in motion or anchored, can cause serious damage to the
top’s framework, which could cause severe product and/or property damage, including serious
personal injury.

Do NOT operate the top while the boat is in motion. Operating the top while the boat is in motion
can cause serious damage to the top’s framework, which could cause severe product and/or property
damage including serious personal injury.

Do NOT trailer or tow the boat without the protective boot properly installed and without the top in
its stowed position. Trailering or towing the boat without the protective boot installed and the top
in its stowed position can cause serious damage to the top’s framework, which could cause severe
product and/or property damage, including serious personal injury.

The 2000 Series Forward Facing Power Bimini system is not a towing arch. Putting any external load,
such as towing a skier or inflatable, on the forward facing bimini system can result in severe product
and or property damage including personal injury and may void product warranty.

Only operate and use the 2000 Series Forward Facing Power Bimini system as originally intended.

Do not exceed 60 mph when the Forward Facing Power Bimini system is deployed. Exceeding
maximum speed limit with the Forward Facing Power Bimini system deployed can cause damage to
the framework and void product warranty.

Moving parts can pinch, cut or crush. Keep clear and use caution.

2000 Series

« A paradigm shift for power bimini
Bimini when closed creates the look of an ARCH, which is a sporty convention for high end pontoons
Bimini opens from the front of boat to the back - opposite of conventional 1000 series
Front support structure plus mid and rear bows

Can adopt Vivid lights due to oval tubing

No standoffs or front supports needed

Does not Work with Shade Extension aftermarket kit

Uses a different configuration of the actuator due to the reverse operation direction

Only available as an OEM product to boat manufacturers

Has limited components that can be replaced or serviced separately because gas struts and springs are
built into the support structure, making it impossible for a dealer or consumer to take apart

3000 Series

2000 series is a “faux arch” but the 3000 series is a power bimini mounted to a real arch (Lippert do not
make the arch)
An arch is a rigid structure that can tow a skier

Frame is made from round stainless steel tubing

No standoffs or front supports needed

Does not Work with Shade Extension aftermarket kit

Only available as an OEM product to boat manufacturers

Uses a different configuration of the actuator due to the reverse operation direction and how it mounts on
the arch

Each 3000 series for each boat manufacturer is highly customized to build the actuator into the arch
