This document outlines removal and replacement procedures for the Furrion A/C unit freeze sensor, single
zone controller and multi-zone controller, as well as Furrion A/C controller unit part numbers and a diagram
of replaceable parts for these units.

Safety

This document provides general instructions. Many variables can change the circumstances of any procedure,
i.e. the degree of difficulty involved in the service operation and the ability level of the individual performing the
operation. This document cannot begin to plot out procedures for every possibility, but will provide the general
instructions for effectively installing, removing or servicing the system. In the event the skill level required is

too advanced or the procedure too difficult, a certified technician should be consulted before performing the
necessary operation. Failure to correctly install, remove or service the system may result in voiding the warranty,
inflicting injury or even death.

Procedure for Replacing the Freeze Sensor

1. Disconnect all power sources (AC and DC) from the unit.
2. Locate the air conditioner inside the unit.
3. Remove decorative plate by pushing side tabs to release (Fig. 1).

5. Remove 4 mounting screws that are mounting the air distribution box to the ceiling (Fig. 4).
NOTE: Retain mounting screws to replace the air distribution box later in the process.

8. Reach up into the air conditioner and remove the freeze sensor from the coils (Fig. 7, Fig. 8 and Fig. 11).

NOTE: Some rooftop units may have a blue clip preinstalled in the coils to indicate where the freeze sensor
is located (Fig. 12).

11. Install other end of the freeze sensor in the evaporator coil. Place between the coil fins and insert until
the sensor is deep into the evaporator coil (Fig. 11).
NOTE: For units with a preinstalled blue clip (Fig. 12), place the freeze sensor in the hole and push in until
the back of the sensor is flush with the clip.
