CUSTOMER
SYMPTOM:

Customers may experience the following:
● Switching from 2WD to AWD inoperable.
● Wheel hub harness connector wires will have damage.

CAUSE:

Manufacturing issue

This bulletin supersedes Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 08-261-25, date of issue August 12, 2025,
which should be removed from your files. All revisions are highlighted with **asterisks** and includes
updated build dates.
This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 25-168,
date of issue August 12, 2025. All applicable RSU VINs have been loaded. To verify this RSU service
action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library.
All repairs are reimbursable within the provisions of warranty.
REPAIR SUMMARY:
This bulletin involves replacing both front hub wire harnesses.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Raise vehicle on hoist. Refer to the detailed service procedures listed in DealerCONNECT Service Library
under: 04 - Vehicle Quick Reference / Hoisting / Standard Procedure.
2. Remove both front tires. Refer to the detailed service procedures listed in DealerCONNECT Service
Library under: 22 - Tires and Wheels / Removal and Installation.
3. Check to see if the connector to the wheel hub has a connector cover on both sides Fig. 1.

4. Does the connector to the wheel hub have a connector cover?
● YES>>> This bulletin has been completed. Use Inspection LOP (08-90-75-9E) to close the active RSU.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 5.
5. Remove both front splash shields. Refer to the detailed service procedures listed in DealerCONNECT
Service Library under: 23 - Body / Exterior / Shield / Removal and Installation.
6. Disconnect both ends of the harness Fig. 2.

7. Open the harness routing retainers Fig. 3.

8. Install the new wire harness by reconnecting it to the routing retainers Fig. 4.
